By day she is Angela Corvello, director of sales and marketing at the Clarion Hotel in Las Vegas, but on a Sunday in June 2007 she was competing in the Air Guitar Championships at Harrah’s Carnaval Court. She went by, Shama Lama Airly Legal Ding Dong.
Corvello has been an air guitarist her “whole life” after growing up playing air guitar with the disc jockeys at her father’s radio station in Pittsburgh, Pa., as a child. In preparation for the weekend’s contest, Corvello demonstrates her many musical air genres during her first photo shoot.
