Nice work, man. Every project you work on is exponentially better than the last. Good story, good composition, good editing.

    Solid.

Oh my goodness...I found myself doing what I've never done before at the end of a short. But I actually clapped and laughed out loud. This was magnificent. Brilliant I must say. I'll just echo what Adam Hoskinson said above that "Every project you work on is exponentially better than the last. Good story, good composition, good editing". if you can picture it I'm giving you a high five.

It's strange but this piece literally made me hold my breath to the very end...and then WHAM!!! Give kudos to your actors man...especially the main one...he definitely delivered. I loved how you cut back and forth while carrying on one seamless dialogue. Very professional. I'd love to see what you do with a serious budget. Kudos to you man.

The soundtrack and sound overall was top notch. Great location also.

    I loved that last punch....excellent...lol.

That was very good, great use of suspense. I found myself clinging on every word.

The Blocking could have been thought out better though.

Overall very good man, pat yourself on the back

Thanks so much! "Never bored" is awesome! ;) (I have a pretty short attention span, so, that sounds just right to me!)

Thanks Jed. Nice work. My friend Geno V. put me onto Snack.
At minimum, I'm gonna link to it on my blog [ markingtime4now.wordpress.com/ ]. Blog gets 75-100 hits or more a day these days... mostly political/cultural criticism from a faith perspective. And I'm also trackin' you down on facebook. I live in Skokie, I'm a Northwestern Radio/TV/Film alumni, and I think we've likely got something to talk about.
    Keep 'em comin', friend.

    Hey Mark,

Thanks, brotha! Congratulations on the blog, that's excellent! (And, of course, thanks for linking the vid!)

I will definitely keep them coming!

The whole thing came out great, and thanks for including my tunes. I'm very honored. I thought the way you portrayed the transforming power of grace to be very compelling.

    PHG -

If the Poolhouse Guru digs it, then we're done here. It wouldn't be nothing without your work on it, as you know. So, thanks for making it magic.

    Your fan,

Amazing!!! Very very good, story, monolouge, characters and shots.
I only have two small bits of creative criticism. While you had some very good med's and close shots and pans in there. I would vary the camera movement just a tad bit more. maybe some full on face shots; Because for the majority of the film the characters are static. But the story was so powerful that it remained captivating through out. good job.
And Fantastic acting! One thing that may have pushed it forward even more in my own opinion is if some of the lines were delivered with more subtlety. It creates range and dynamic in a monologue as long as this one. The part where he gives a small outburst and starts to question himself would have been even more so affective. It's like a tea kettle...start off at a simmer and gradually build up to the whistling explosion!

    Fantastic film. I loved it.
