Christen M. Smith's film SALLY TAKES THE LEAD is a celebration of the quirks that define us from and sometimes attract us to the other quirky souls who cross our paths. When Sally finds more than just fresh string beans in the produce aisle, she forgoes all grocery shopping etiquette for a chance to check out this newest item.
SALLY screened at the Reel Venus Film Festival in NYC and won an award at the Baltimore Women's Film Festival in MD. It was made in part with a grant from NYU's Richard Protovin Memorial Award.
