Two full-scale 250kW O-DriveTM systems have been built at the BioPower Systems Test Centre where they are currently being tested under simulated ocean conditions. Watch the video to see recent footage of the systems, arranged in a back-to-back configuration, where one module is back-driven to apply forces onto the other such that the receiving side experiences ocean-like conditions.
