Every July the city of Ulm is celebrating "Oath Week",
the highlight being "Oath Monday"
when the mayor swears a historical oath
dating back to the 14th century.
This is followed by the NABADA,
a procession on the river Danube involving thousands of
local people in all kinds of colourful, self-built rafts.
The music is from the local Band "Liquid Line" with their song "Sommer".
