In the year 2008 looking for an idea for my final project at design school I contacted two chilean filmmakers that were doing their first feature length, with the idea of designing a couple of animations for them.
The scope of the project grew beyond the original idea and we ended up creating all the graphic pieces for the movie, from the poster to the DVD menu.
The main piece of the project were the opening titles. Inspired by the pop-art imagery, and various historical brands from Chile, this animation aimed to capture the theme and tone of the movie: a movie shot entirely in a supermarket, with 14 different intersecting stories dealing with topics of consumption, mass culture and fame.
