My Sister & Jared's Full Wedding Video - All Redrock M2 Wedding
11 months ago
StillMotion might have their all Brevis shoot (vimeo.com/2542789) but I have my all Redrock shoot... j/k! I hope I'm as good as them one day :)
We arrived in Jamaica for my sister's wedding to the roars of Hurricane Paloma. The wedding had to be delayed one day... the video shows the results :)
If you enjoyed this, please see the Seattle mini-wedding here: vimeo.com/2123625 (It explains the first song choice!)
The day shoot was run by the amazing Punam Bean. I merely tagged along and tried to stay out of the way with my video camera. See some photos here: punambean.com/blog/?p=354

1) The dancing on the dock when they slowly make there way to the end and she twirls. Classy.
2) When you're following her and only filming her dress feels very warm and personal. It's such a great touch that it already started feeling like a nostalgic moment.
3) The ending with Hurricane Paloma and the text. Nice
Great work man. This was really impressive and heart felt. Time to get you that monitor and longer telephoto for the ceremony part!
It's fantastic! It totally took me back to the day! Wonderful work! Yay!
The reason its softly blurred is because I'm using the Redrock M2 adapter and have to shoot with a wide open aperture on my lens. It makes the depth of field very shallow, so there's a lot of blurriness you describe. The reason I shoot wide open is that the M2 takes up a lot of light and my camera needs more light since it is a consumer level camera.
I used Adobe Premiere Pro to put it together and did no color correction :)
