Elastic Theatre's workshops explore the combination of theatre, movement and vocal music. Participants are guided in collaborative tasks, devising performance from the creative stimuli given by our most recent productions.
Elastic Theatre is a regular collaborator of NOA Opera Festival in Vilnius, a leading showcase of contemporary music theatre in Eastern Europe. Director Jacek Ludwig Scarso, voice coach Maya Sapone and movement coach Chiara D'Anna led a masterclass drawing on the themes of Elastic Theatre's production Baroque Box. This culminated in the creation of simultaneous live tableaux, set to a given melodic loop and inspired by the paintings of Caravaggio and their fascinating depictions of the human body.
