On March 11, 2011, a black wave of destruction wreaked havoc along Japan's northern coast.
Nearly 2 and a half months later, photographer Cam Wrigley travelled to the region to document the aftermath and recovery.
The photos in this slideshow are available in book format, partial proceeds from which benefit the Tanohata Mura Fishermen's Collective.
