The Austin-based guitarist and composer is finishing his new album called "Lose Yourself", which features 11 tracks of both instrumental and vocal performances. Each composition will illustrate a state of "giving up control", either in a joyous or destructive manner.

An all-star-cast of Austin musicians was used to render high-class musical performances. "The whole record turned out to be very orchestral - a "Pink Floyd meets Jimi Hendrix meets Mike Oldfield", the string arrangements added a whole big deal to that" says Ellison. Credits include Dony Wynn on drums, Steve Bernal on cello, John Bush on percussion and eclectic European vocalist ENA.
