1. Butterflies Documentary Cue_Aune
This documentary scoring project for a Film Scoring class at Berklee College of Music (www.berkleemusic.com) was composed by Matt Aune. Berklee kindly provided the video cue and Matt wrote and performed all of the music using Cubase 4.5 and Vienna Symphony Orchestra (www.vsl.co.at) sample instruments.

After a short teaser of various animals in the wild, the narration sets the focus of this film with the following line: “One of the most amazing creatures you’ll ever see is probably no farther away (pause) than your own backyard.” This line ends within a CU of a beautiful Monarch butterfly about to take flight. The music will begin as the Monarch suddenly takes off. The SMPTE frame for the start of music is: 01:01:35:03. Set the music start in your DAW accordingly. The relative start time (:00) and all subsequent event timings are based on the music beginning at this SMPTE TC frame.
