After 6 batches of beer, I learned why people use blowoff hoses. I came home to check on my beer 24 hours after it started it's journey into becoming awesome and I found my airlock has overflowed. My yeast was working too hard to make beer. Fortunately most of the mess stayed on the lid. I was able to rig up a blowoff hose to handle the load. Look at that baby ferment!
