The Gist: You need people to be able to hear the sound in your thing. That's why it's wise to engage in a sound mix. By spending time listening to and adjusting all your sound piece by piece, you ensure that levels are consistent and strong throughout. Especially in a world where so many people will hear your sound through shitty MacBook speakers, that's important.

I admit this one kinda drags in the beginning, and I'll warn straight up that I'm not a professional sound engineer. But especially in the second half, there are a couple of tricks that are useful, especially if you're one of those people (like I usually am) that just exports straight out of Final Cut after having set quick levels.
