A few people on here have been making clips using public domain footage from the ever-so-convenient prelinger archives. Inspired by what I saw, I wanted to contribute a piece of my own. It is compiled from about six different videos to incorporate one story. The audio is Jeffrey Lewis covering a Daniel Johnston song. If you don't know who Daniel Johnston is, then I can only suggest you get familiar with him...

Nicely done ! WOw you found dinosaurs in the archive.

Thanks Remyyy. The dinosaur clips were probably the only that exist in the archives. Had to steal those few seconds from a 16 minute video.

Astonishing, indeed! What a heavy load of meanings, condensed in this short, but conceptually fertile, piece of art. Could it possibly change forever our perspective on the post-Hurley&Chen era of video blogging? Probabily not. However, the young, but promissing, artist has a point to prove.

Thank you. I'm glad you got a lot more out of it than I did. Not to put down your compliment, but... I can't tell if you're joking. Do I have a point to prove? Well yes, I do now. When I was in high school, I made a really boring short documentary on waste water treatment just to pass a course I was failing. The teacher said it was the best video he'd ever seen on the subject. Now, here is the point: I know absolutely nothing about waste water facilities. What does that tell you about filmmaking?

Is this "conceptually fertile" piece of art actually just a conceptually fertile piece of shit? Maybe. But, once again, thank you.

what is shit but some other organisms fertilizler....and art only ever exsists in the eye of the beholder...shit always is beautiful to somthing...even toxic waste has somthing that benifits from it.......in the future ...or somthing like that...shut up your rambling.... ok

The irony in saying "fertile piece of shit" was totally lost on me. Thanks 3d60.
