A caravan of 34 rustic floats represent the casual, colorful and neighborly villages from around West Marin as narrator, Robert Cardwell describes each one with his unique Western-style sense of humor. From the opening Color Guard with the USCG; through the local garden club carrying rakes and hoes; a mechanical deer made with all recyclable materials; the flotsum-like contingent called Nave Patrola; a local photographer holding up the parade for 10 minutes in order to get the best shot; preschool children marching with parents reliving drum corp and baton drill memories; ending with the third annual mini-concert atop the last float ... a day in West Marin is like no other. The entire community fills the Main Street of four block long town and is captured on this show. This is not your ordinary parade.
