I was impressed with how well "Big Gas" and "Surfimp" were doing flips at our VTPR event... so I got my "Mad" elevator working on my Le Fish and have been practicing the last couple flying sessions. Here is a clip from yesterday's (Sat) flying at Sheba Crater.
This Le Fish was built light, using some of the building techniques recently developed by Swiss Peter. I left out the holes; but used 3 and 5 mil laminating films, Depron control surfaces and minimal spars (all ribbon). Current flying weight is 21.5 ounces. My "mad" elevator has about 85° of up and 70° of down throw. I hope to increase the down elevator to match the up.
