Making PVC bows is addictive! I've got five of them as of this moment, and it's very possible that I'll have more than that by the end of the day.
The two that are featured in this video are a 60 inch bow made from 1" pipe and a 48 inch bow made from the standard 3/4 inch pipe. The heavy pipe bow is much stiffer to pull back, and has some hand shock issues, but it does throw the arrow with pretty good authority. The short bow performs surprisingly well. I don't pull it all the way back to my normal anchor point, but it seems to be quite accurate, and fairly fast, even with a shorter draw.
The short bow would be great for people with a shorter draw length, or for "point" shooting out to around 15 yards or so. It's accurate to that point, and so short that it could be thrown into the trunk of a car with a few arrows, just so you're always ready for some archery fun.
