This is a fantastic tune. I got linked to your CD download from Synthtopia and I've been listening it to today. It's freaking awesome man. I linked your stuff on my blog here : keyofgrey.com/?p=1333
    Keep on keeping on!

yo edison. love this project. what app are you using to do this? i'd love to play around with it.
  • edison 9 months ago
    yo!
    its mlr aes 0.3!
    thanks!
  • brothertony 9 months ago
mlr? really? are your samples just one sound after another for each row? if so, how did you manage to time that correctly to line up with mlr?
  • edison 9 months ago
    holy shit....
    im a mess....
    its not mlr at all....hahahahaha
    wrong video....
    sorry for the mixup dood....
this is just putting monomeserial in MIDI mode, and mapping midi messages to sounds.....
    one sound per button.......
    so, technically ... no app.....
ableton is so easy to MIDI map...... and then i just set the global quantize to none....
you should try it out....super fun.....
ill have a new one hopefuly this weekend...
    stay tuned....!

awesome man. i don't use ableton, i'm a reason guy but i would assume the same concept is possible with any of reasons samplers. in midi mode i don't really see how to map anything. the mapping is done through monomeserial alone?

edit - figured it out! last question, how did you program a stop button?
  • edison 9 months ago
ohhh.... ableton has a mappable "stop all clips" button.....
so its just a cutoff for all noise coming out of the program...!

    sick nasty

  • alwaysrepresenting 6 months ago
this is so nasty, from when wait, the mutha fuckin beginning as I've sat and analized everything, bro. all these different beats combined into one piece of art. right before the second hoss, the beats come to almost a silence, and hold up, the shit keeps going. Mind blowing art! I admire this art, and your skills.....trying to learn once I get my box. peace, and love.
