The Foundation began supporting the government of the Kingdom of Swaziland in 2004 to prevent HIV infections and reduce HIV-related morbidity and mortality among women, children, and families.
As of September 30, 2010, Foundation-supported programs have provided nearly 97,000 women in
Swaziland with PMTCT services; provided nearly 94,000 pregnant women with HIV testing; and supported the Ministry of Health to provide comprehensive PMTCT and/or care and treatment services at 59 sites across the country.
