    This is beautiful, Trent!

This is how a web redemption should be done on Tosh.0. Even though it would not be possible in a twenty minute show.

I've been a long-time Eli fan, and have been waiting to see this since I found it a few months ago!

I had the pleasure of doing a quick write up at The A.V. Club about it:

hope to see pt 2 soon!

    Awesome documentary!
Really enjoyed it, except the part where the guy from "retarded beatbox" kicks in. Why the heck would he be here, and who would want to listen to his opinion? Ruined about 34% of the thing for me.

awesome, saw the clip on youtube a while ago, never though it was recorded in 2005?! looks like 90s quality on the video. :) very neat documentary.

Hey this was great. waited a long time to watch it and glad its finally here. good job :) gotta say though that those 2 fat white guys drinking beer on that couch were so damn annoying. they wanted to be black so bad it was cringey. be nice to have an edit without them in it and maybe some unused scenes instead. Thanks.

Great video. Just curious why there was no interviews with Envy. Would have been great to hear his opinion on the whole thing.
  • Trent Babbington plus 4 months ago
Man we were dying to interview him, but nobody has the first clue where he is today - J-Dub said he's originally from Charlotte, so that's something.
  • Parker Hellman 4 months ago
Does anyone know his full name? Did you guys check the high school year books?
You would think with all the popularity he garnered he would have some sort of web presence. Then again Eli didn't have a youtube page until last year. However I predict this film will be seen by him and that my friend will be your next project.=)
  • Trent Babbington plus 4 months ago
Nah man that's a negatory on all fronts. Apparently, he was one of those students who comes to your school in the middle of the semester and leaves before the end of the year, so he's not in the yearbook and nobody remembers his last name. He came, he made history, he left. To quote Will, "He's Osama Bin Laden. He is hiding in a cave, he is not showing his face." I always wonder if he's seen any of this.
