In late 2008, Joseph Teegardin set out to drive across country to his parents for Christmas before he returned home to New York.
He was asked to film random parts of his road trip to be used for a new series on BET Canada.
Executives decided the footage was far too racy for prime-time and demanded the footage be destroyed.
