An extract from a rehearsal of 'Love Songs'
Established in 1981, Danish Dance Theatre is one of the foremost contemporary dance companies in Scandinavia. Choreographer Tim Rushton (b. 1963) became Artistic Director in 2001, bringing a new vision and direction to the company. Today, the company has a strong repertoire that is in demand all over the world, and is continually producing new works, to both audience and media acclaim. Tim Rushtons individual style and close collaboration with the dancers has bridged many boundaries of style and technique, to develop a unique ability to reflect the nuances of human emotions and relationships.
The company is supported by the Danish Ministry of Culture.
