This is the fourth piece in the spectacular Goyescas Suite for piano by Enrique Granados. The Spanish title is "Quejas ó la Maja y el Ruiseñor". I see the piece as a battle between a brooding young maiden intent on being dark and dramatic, and a happy little bird trying to pull her out of her funk. You'll have to watch the video to decide who wins.
