HAS NOW BEEN SEEN IN OVER 130 COUNTRIES!

Imagine a machine that lets you draw in perfect perspective with nothing but your own eyes and a pen?

Artists Ryan and Trevor Oakes have invented a machine to draw realistic scenes in perspective.

Their unique machine helps them use a technique which splits the ocular system allowing them to create images which match the field of view of human vision.

The reason it was never crafted is because it is unnecessary. The camera obscura and lucinda both helped old masters with perspective without cutting or curving paper. This device is far too inefficient in comparison.

well this is a camera lucida in the way it works. but i think this project is not about efficiency, but about the experience of seeing a large image on a curved plane, with every point the same distance from your eye... because of that, i love this contraption.

I love it too. You should see it in real life. The skull cast is very interesting.
