*edit: There seems to have been some sort of error in Vimeo's encoding process. The footage is running quite a bit faster than it should be. Kind of ruins the original "24p" look. I'll work on uploading my newer tests soon*
Just a quick proof of concept test with my custom GH2 rig. Using a DOF adapter with crop mode, which gives 35mm DoF, and the added bonus of significantly reduces rolling shutter/aliasing. I've placed a layer of custom film grain on top for added affect.
Couldn't quite get the look down before the hack due to the initial mudiness of crop mode. But now, running at 46mb/s, things are finally starting to fall into place.
As a reference, I used high res frame grabs from the "Black Swan" blu ray.
