Beautifully shot and edited. That v-twin, dry clutch.... sounds.... so.... good. I can tell you valued the audio as much as I did!

Also, it must have been fun to use the Cineflex. Did you mount it on a vehicle, or get a heli for a day?

I'm sure Ducati will be calling you to book their next promo video.

Gorgeous video ,beautifully shot. You have captured more the essence of the feeling of riding in this one video than the last 5 years of all of the bike ads I have seen. Ducati should give you some cash and bikes, leave you alone for a month or two and just let you shoot .

Great video! Perfectly embodies what I, as a motorcyclist, get from riding. You also have conjured up roads devoid of traffic, I think that was the best part!

What camera was shot at 1:43?
  • barry munsterteiger plus 5 months ago
All riding footage from 0:28 through to the end was shot using the Cineflex system. We had 2 different lenses: the Fujinon HA 42x9.7 and the Fujinon 13x4.5. We used an AJA KiPRO capture system to record directly to Apple ProRes HQ.

Just watched this again with headphones on. Great mix to be certain. I love that dry clutch rattle and throaty 90 degree twin sound. Awesome. Mine just happens to be a bit louder....and I like that.

This is amazing! Did you have an issues with rolling shutter on the AF-100?
  •
  • barry munsterteiger plus 3 months ago
AF100 was used for the interior garage shots and some of the footage in the city prior to sunrise so the rolling shutter was not an issue. All running footage was shot with the CineFlex

Seriously, the quality of work is just stunning. I think you've just killed my project of doing a short movie about my passion for motorcycles because I realized that nothing I could produce would compare :-/

I wish I could "like" something more than once. Great work. I thought the HUD shot was particularly inspired.

Thanks for the good words. We are all very happy with it especially given it was a self funded, passion project and the maiden voyage for the Camera Car which is a pretty complex operation. Please do not try this at home.
More is in the works, stay tuned.
