I ran this emerging art gallery in Charlotte for ten years. We were open to all the arts, including music, theater, and video. We had this open door policy that if you wanted to play, we would provide the venue. So all these bands came by and played for free and I felt so guilty about it that I would shoot some video and give it to them. Sometimes it turned out pretty well.
