The Degree Show offered from Industrial Design degree courses and run by Gerhard Heufler, is being hosted by designforum Steiermark for the first time. This joint venture follows a long tradition of productive cooperation between FH Joanneum and Creative Industries Styria and will be continued over the following years: the work of the classes will be largely presented to the public, also with regard to Graz being a UNESCO City of Design.

Skiing boots, MP3 player, drilling machines, laptops or cars are not products of coincidence. It often takes industrial designers years to refine and test a product. In the work show „Industrial Design Show 2011“ students of the Industrial Design degree course at FH Joanneum, University of Applied Sciences, present future-oriented concepts on the topic „Individual Urban Mobility“. The most outstanding concept was given the MAGNA STEYR MOVING EMOTION AWARD.
