In this video you'll see photos and music blended together. You'll see the PCT in Oregon. It took us 18 days to hiking the 450 miles in mid to late July.
Maiu Reismann and Francis Tapon thru-hiked the PCT in 2006. Their trip started on June 23, 2006 in Canada and finished at the Mexican border on October 21, 2006.
I made this video for presentations that I gave on the PCT. The music was in the background so that the audience could hear my voice. The music is meant to convey the emotions we were feeling. For example, heavy music when I show Maiu's battered feet (from walking 150 miles in flip flops - long story) reflects the tough times for her.
The reason the video stays abnormally long on some photos is that I had a long story to say about that photo. It may look strange if you weren't hearing me narrate the slides.
