This is Ashok's Vada Pav in the Dadar neighborhood. Akshay's friend Zoran took us here. This vada pav shop has won many awards for its famous take on the popular Maharashtrian fast food.

from Wikipedia... "Wada Pav (pronounced WUH-daahh POW) is one of the most popular fast-foods in Mumbai. It consists of a vada, made of potatoes, served on a bun or roll."

When the delightful ethnic ladies at my workplace make this, they call it "pau bhaji". And very nice it is, too.

Pav Bhaji is something else. It's pav (the same type of bread you see in this video) + mashed veggies.

Awesome video! I had taken Meg to another famous place opposite the CST station - she quite liked it I think.

I linked this from vadapav.com - but dont know why it wont let me embed the video. It's a Wordpress blog. Any idea what's wrong?

Try this tip found in forums for embedding the video to a WP blog: vimeo.com/forums/topic:1415#comment_185270
