My friend Patrick and I climbed La Plata Peak on July 12th 2011. As we hiked we talked about how if you do enough 14ers (mountains over 14,000' in elevation) or just climb mountains in general, they all start to feel the same (that's definitely not a complaint though!): dense forest, streams, open valley with low-lying bushes, switchbacks through treeline, wildflowers, snow patches, rock fields, summit with sweeping views.
So here is that experience in about 90 seconds. Set to bluegrass music just for the heck of it. Enjoy!
