A beautiful lake in Raleigh. This was a Sunday morning after raining for several hours, and as you will tell, very windy.

Nice video, a little jumpy when you pan, but it's still a very nice video.

Hi, the reason why it looks jumpy is that Vimeo seems to convert to 24 fps when they convert the original footage. If you download the original Wmv version you'll see that doesn't happen.

I just bought one of these and it seems it only shoots 60i yet your footage seems to have a soft, if my say warm film like feel to it. Is there a setting I am missing on my camera? My test footage that i shot of my son has that soap opera look to it.

Well, for one thing I always use manual controls when I shoot video, especially exposure and white balance, so i tend to shoot with lower exposure than the typical auto-everything in camcorders. That might give it a more cinematic look, although in part is the conversion to 24 fps that Vimeo does.
