Pangandaran is a popular coastal tourism destination in West Java province, Indonesia. The project STREAM (Sustainable Tourism through Energy Efficiency with Adaptation and Mitigation Measures in Pangandaran) serves as a model of innovative climate change mitigation and adaptation measures ‐ adopting an energy efficiency approach, while strengthening local structures for the sustainability of this tourism destination.

This video features interviews with local stakeholders on their opinions concerning the changing climate in Pangandaran, as well as their thoughts on projects such as STREAM.

The project is being implemented by a consortium of partners with UNWTO as the lead coordinating and implementing agency, the MoTCE as the focal governmental agency in Indonesia, Indecon and IESR as the NGO partners in Indonesia and adelphi as the technical partner based in Berlin, Germany.
