In the summer of 2010, I traveled with two of my 7th grade students from Brooklyn to rural Kenya for 17 days. We lived and worked at St. Mary's Boys' Secondary School and Rescue Center, and spent three days on safari in the Masai Mara. This video is a brief representation of our adventure. I hope to include excerpts from the online blogs we kept, more video footage and pictures in a future, full-length documentary. I also hope this is the first of many "I See with New Eyes Projects".
