This is a test I did with Gaby and Gibby. Edward wanted to do the Alec Baldwin ass-chewing scene from "Glengarry Glen Ross" as a side project for some reason and he wanted me to shoot it. So I got two of the actors to do a small section of the scene as a kind of working storyboard to illustrate to both Edward and myself how the thing might look. No props. One light. No sound guy.
I only used one light for this test and put it in black and white to hide inconsistencies with the color temperatures. This test was all about the composition, not the lighting, so I only used one tungsten Lowell Rifa light simply for illumination and controlling shadows amid the sea of fluorescent office lamps.
Of course I would light the actual film appropriately.
Everyone got excited over this little test but nothing came of the side project and I doubt anything ever will. Still, it gave me something cute and in black and white to share here on Vimeo. Enjoy!
