4. Drupal Calendar 7.3 configuration (Calendar 7.x-3.x-dev)
This screencast demonstrates how to install and configure the new 7.3 version of the Calendar module for Drupal.

Calendar 7.3 is a complete rewrite of the calendar module resulting a substantial reduction in code size (from 500+k to 70k)!
Calendar 7.3 uses a custom date pager instead of the attached navigation displays in previous versions. This drastically reduces the amount of custom code, should make calendar much easier to use and customize for panels & blocks, as well as making it easier and faster to maintain.

Thanks Karen!

Great Tutorial. Is it possible to display the month view using the unordered list formatter? In views when I set month format to Unformatted list + Fields the block calendar is not clickable anymore. Do I miss something there?

Figured it out: Only change the month format and leave week, day and year unchanged. Although unchanged they will take over the month view.

Perfectly working afte the tuto, just a question: In the year view or the block view you see the numbers of the event day as links, is it possible to pop up or give them the title skill so when you hoover over them you can see at least the title of the event(s)?

    Thanks again for the tuto.

    Yet another question:
At the Event Content type page, once the content is created, I see a link to the year calendar view, I can not find where to override it, I would need it linking to somewhere else or delete it.

    Thanks.

Nice tutorial, thanks. However, I get the following error when I change the filters on the views:

SQLSTATE[42S22]: Column not found: 1054 Unknown column 'node.date_filter' in 'where clause'

    I am using D7.9, Calendar 3.0-alpha 1, Date 2.0-alpha 5 and views 3.0-rc3

    thanks, J

Arlin - great tutorial. I got my calendar setup in only a couple hours! Thanks. Any chance you could publish an addendum to explain what the documentation means by "add a fourth Calendar argument to your view, the Calendar: iCal Feed argument." ?

No clue where to do that :)
