Time Lapse shot new years eve 2008 with Nikon D300.

701 exposures shot with 10 sek interval.

Put together in Quick Time Pro at 24fps

Started 20.30 and finished 00.30. After 24 sek in the video you can see yours truly celebrating with my own fireworks shot from the playground.

    Beautiful. How is this done? I have a D80 and I'd like to try converting stills to HD video. How do I do it?

    I use the intervalometer on my D300. I`m not sure how to do it on a D80. You could do it manualy, but that doesn`t sound like fun. I guess you have to hook it up to a computer and program the intervals that way.

    I guess the D300 does this automatically. D80 cannot. Oh well. I'll just have to stick with my cheap stuff for a while until I win the state lottery.
