November 2003.
Before they began selling out every game at Citizens Bank Park...the Phillies played across the street at Veterans Stadium. The Vet opened in 1971 and was imploded early in 2004 but before they said goodbye the decided to keep the monuments that welcomed the fans . They would move them before restoring them and then place them back in the parking lot of Citizens Bank Park. It was something to see a part of my past move to be part of the future. This video was shot with with a sony mini dv camera...about the size of my hand...transferred to Betacam SX for editing on a portable Sony Betacam SX Laptop. Tape to Tape...geeze.
