Hello everybody !!!

Some moments can hardly be captured on video ...

Today was my last day of my four months stay in Wudang Shan. As you certainly remember if you have watched my video on Zhen Wu's birthday, I went to the Golden Summit at the beginning of my stay in Wudang Shan.

Before leaving, I wanted to see a sunrise at the Golden Summit and also to make some offerings to Zhen Wu, the immortal protector of the mountain, and to Zhang Sanfeng, the founder of Taiji Quan.

So yesterday, I stayed in Nanyan. We had walked from there to the Golden Summit before and it had taken us around two and a half hours ... So I decided to wake up early and to leave at three in order to be at the Golden Summit around 5h30 for the sunrise.

It was a beautiful and very meaningful ascension. It was half moon - so I walked in the light of a Yin and Yang moon. I also had a small little torch without batteries but with a little crank to load it ... it turned out to be quite useful in some of the forest parts where the moonlight did not reach so well.

The ascension reminded me of the beautiful Sanskrit verses:

Aum
Asato ma sad gamaya
Tamaso ma jyotir gamaya
Mrityor ma amritam gamaya
Hari aum tat sat Aum

It means:

From ignorance lead me to truth.
From darkness lead me to light.
From death lead me to immortality.

So the ascension was a nice ascension from the dark valleys to the source of light on the peak of the mountain ... As I didn't want to miss my appointment with the sun, I walked quite quickly and reached the Golden Peak temple at 4h44.

As the doors to the summit were still closed, I practiced Taiji Quan in front of the temple. It was beautiful and it was also a kind of offering to Wudang Shan.

Then at 5h30 the doors opened and I walked up to the Golden Peak where I awaited the sunrise.

Although you cannot really catch a moment like this, I felt I want to try to share it with you. And just when I had placed my camera, the first crescent of the sun started to appear.

It was a very beautiful and meaningful sunrise :-)

Good and beautiful sun inspirations to you !!!

May the sun also rise for you and inspire you :-)

Christoph
