Sean Parker Novacut Video
Sean Parker and Austin Hillebrecht made this video, and it's too good not to share this very instant. Also, Sean is currently in an airport on the way to a film festival in LA, so he can't upload it this very instant. But it needs to be.

Want to share this video other places? The first is 720p, the second 360p for Facebook:

There was an honest misunderstanding in this video. During my conversation with Sean, I mentioned Plural-Eyes-like functionality is in the works for GStreamer. But the video makes it seem the feature is already complete in GStreamer and in Novacut, which is not the case. Sean and Austin were tired, give em a break.
Also, turns out I was mistaken and the Plural-Eyes-like functionality is actually internal in PiTiVi, not a GStreamer plugin.

Thanks, you rock!
We may be able to port to OSX and Windows fairly soon, but as I don't have much dev experience on either platform, I don't want people to get their hopes up just yet.
But we've already been contacted by a few people interested in helping with porting efforts... so we'll see :-)
Enough clever tech people to sort out the porting I'm sure, all you need is a clever cool product people want to use, my guess is porting will be the easiest part :) to be honest I'm curious to see how the media distribution is going to work out. Maybe in 5 years we are all part of some giant torrent like media hive with vimeo as the main tracker and everything else just floating around with varied levels of licenses attached to the footage.... aah got my head in the clouds again... oh wait that's the idea!
