The 5D Mark II is definitely an awesome camera. Feel free to come play with mine whenever you recover from your ultra death virus and come back to the office.
Also, it was food poisoning. 5 days of no food really hurt me.
One disadvantage of it, though, is that you can hear the image stabilizer spinning if you have IS enabled (in this video, I didn't). But I can't really fault them for that.
If you plan to record "real" sound with this, you should definitely get an external microphone. It has a 1/8" mic-in port.
