This was recorded for my daughters school using a Ricoh GX100 24mm camera at 5 second intervals.
We also recorded with the all 3 performances on Sony HC5's which gave us 130Gigs of video by the end of the 70 hours of editing.

The Ricoh is a great choice for begineers and time lapse. Ours has shot over 50,000 stills including the building of a car race circuit over 9 months - using batteries and a solar panel for a 150' tower!!! It was shot for a paying customer who originally didn't want it released due to a media embargo. I'm still trying to get that one released :)
