Art curator Maggie Fletcher and her husband Gary, were fulfilling a lifelong dream of working in a remote Aboriginal Community. Just as they were getting the Warmun Art Centre back on its feet, their plans were capsized by devastating floods.
This is the first part of Maggie and Gary's story and what happened to the Warmun Art Centre during the record breaking Kimberley floods of March 2011. The story has been captured by ABC Open for the project, Aftermath, incorporating Maggie and Gary's own footage of the floods.
Aftermath follows the stories of Australians who are trying to rebuild their lives and their communities after a natural disaster.
