Surayia helped hundreds of destitute, nonliterate, women to escape poverty by creating exquisite art and teaching the women to embroider it. Now however she is no longer able to draw or sew. Some footage in this trailer was filmed by Mishuk Munier, who was killed, along with well-known Bangladeshi film director Tareque Masud, in a road accident in Bangladesh in August 2011. We mourn the loss of our two friends, whose help and creativity we miss immensely.
