This shows some work I am having done as part of my job at Moors for the Future. These contractors are spreading lime, seed and fertiliser on areas of degraded moorland to affect restoration of the habitats.
The large Bell 204 helicopter can carry upto 1.5 tonnes of materials at a time! Here it is putting down an empty hopper (to be refilled) and picking up a full one. It will then fly off (in this case over Turley Holes moor) to spread the lime, seed or fertiliser (each material is done seperately).
