I've been working on this animated short about the ancient Greek story of Orpheus and Eurydice for four years now, and today I started animating a first scene: the moment when the boat of Charon arrives at the banks of the Underworld. There's no soundtrack yet.
It's not the beginning of the film though, but from the middle of the short. If you want to learn more about the film, you'll find the whole process documented on my blog: einfachanimation.de/tag/orpheus-film-project/
I'm really looking forward to finish the film, and today's animation is a huge step in the right direction.
I shot the animation with a Pentax ist *DL2, an Eye-Fi card and Dragon Stopmotion which works but isn't an ideal setup.
I shot 410 frames in total today, and this took me about 5 hours.
