Thanks so much proconpictures for the nice feedback! I will send you a note soon regarding your Vimeo project. It really is amazing the possibilities working with a traditional medium like gouache and combining it with digital painting as well. I highly suggest sketching outdoors and then painting those sketches up in full value ranges in the studio, great memory exercise.

Hey Erik. Hope you do more of these or another DVD. I love gouache myself, but didn't believe in it till I saw your strokes. Not a lot of people put enough time in to get to that level. Thanks for the inspiring work, and I hope you do more groovey stuff. And move over to the east coast! I'd love to see some of your tutorials... Just too costly to fly over. I don't have anything to show for my self yet in painting... I'm still just working up to something decent here and there. But I thumbnail a ton thanks to your dvd, and it really helps confidence.
