REFLECTIONS with Amir Sulaiman
Ta'leef Collective presents "REFLECTIONS." Short vignettes featuring people from the Ta'leef community on topics that range from religion, culture, lifestyle, knowledge, arts, sciences, community, family, etc.
AMIR SULAIMAN was twice featured on Def Jam Poetry, and with three released albums to date, Amir keeps audiences rapt on a global scale. When he isn’t touring, he spends his days cultivating youth in the art of poetry and style and giving presentations on politics and society. Dedicated to revitalizing hearts and minds, Amir Sulaiman walks the uphill battle without breaking a sweat, bringing a fervent beauty to the art of language.
The views and opinions expressed in the 'Reflections' videos do not necessarily reflect the views of Ta'leef Collective.

Islam has the most diverse followers than any other religion. Paraphrasing - Allah states in the Quran that "Cultural Diversity was created so that we could get to know and enjoy one another." Islamic culture is'nt just one selected culture from the middle east, Islam is for all people, races and cultures to use as a way of life.
I think that it should be mandatory for every imam everywhere to watch this video....and in turn relay this message to their respective communities. Thank you Mustafa for capturing this and thank you Amir for saying it like it is. We need to be sensitive and aware of the fact that Islam is a way of life that should bring people together in a "take me as i am" mentality.
