It was very, very cold when my niece and I were filming this. -7 degrees centigrade!!

Location: Electrabel, close to Beuningen and Nijmegen.

My niece has made a cool poster, go check it out!: moviemeuk.nl/files/poster_tefn_nena.png

Very nice composition J. If I may say, keep your waterlines horizontal, but that's just me :)
  • Jesse 11 months ago
Yeah, I got the same comment on a different website. :P Too bad my camera doesn't include composition lines, but I'll watch out for it the next time.

YT? I do really like to see young guys like you producing high quality images!
For the horizon: you can always draw a fine reference horizontal line, or two small short ones on each side on the LCD display of the cam. And so simple to rectify in post: rotate and scale :) Just to help.
  • Jesse 11 months ago
    No, moviemeter.nl . I really enjoy my hobby. ;)
Thanks for the tip, with the LCD screen. It sounds so simple, but effective.
Doesn't rotate and scale reduce the quality of the clips, btw?
  • Pierre 11 months ago
Rotating doesn't affect image quality, scaling softens it, so use only the minimum needed. If you can do it in AE as the last step in your workflow :)

it is nicely done. may i learn what is your soundtrack name / source.
  • Jesse 8 months ago
The first song is called "Mukashi O Ima ni Nasuyoshimogana", made by Joe Hisaishi, which is from the movie called "Pompoko". The second song is also by Joe Hisaishi and is called "The Bottomless Pit", which is from the movie called "Spirited Away".
    Glad you like it. :)
