ESCALA – European Youth Summer Camp a la Turca,
held in the mountains of Kastamonu province in
Turkey during 4 days in August 2008, focused on
the issue of European awareness and
diversity among young citizens. About 50 young
people coming from Turkey,Spain, the Netherlands,
Italy, Hungary, and Austria shared their
opinions about a widerange of EU-related subjects
and met with about 10 experts and European
policy-makers during the camp's activities.
